Recently, i’ve been addressed with a a question is it possible to repoint vCenter Server to another PSC.
The situation was that the customer had two vCenter Servers, each with it’s own external PSC. So far – pretty common configuration.
But, the tricky part was that these two PSC weren’t part of the same SSO domain. Each one of them has been configured with it’s own SSO domain.
The thing which really needs to pay attention to, and that’s the post goal, is that the target PSC must be a replication partner of the existing external Platform Services Controller in the same SSO Domain.

Of course that once you’re done repointing vCenter Server to a new PSC, you can now log into vCenter Server through the Web Client and make sure vCenter is functional.
